COURSE DETAILS:
Employee Motivation is becoming ever more important in the workplace. As time goes on, everyone agrees that a motivated workforce is far more likely to be a successful workforce. The happier and more professional an employee is, the better the results they will deliver. This workshop is designed to show participants techniques for getting the best out of your employees.
This workshop will address:
- Identifying individual differences in motivation
- Creating a motivational organization
- Encouraging growth and development
- Every-day motivational techniques
- Addressing specific morale issues
- What to do when the whole company / department is de-motivated
Upon successful completion of the workshop, the participant will be able to:
- Define motivation, an employer’s role in it and the employee’s role
- Identify the importance of employee motivation
- Identify methods of employee motivation
- Describe the theories which pertain to employee motivation
- Identify behaviour styles and how they fit into a plan for employee motivation
- Identify motivational issues, and address those issues
This workshop is part of a series of 10 workshops offered by NCDA & BCIT. Successful completion of 8 of 10 workshops results in a Statement of Completion Award.
